The club was founded by journalists on the London Evening News in 1976 and now visits some of the most pleasant club and village grounds in the Home Counties. There are tours every year - to the Cotswolds in June, rural Derbyshire in early September, the delights of south-west France at the beginning of October, and other occasional destinations. New heights for Low

John Low struck with the ball in the game against Cricklade on Sunday, June 23, 2019 – returning sensational figures of 5-0-32-1.

The record shows that this was John’s first wicket since 2011 – when he had an analysis of 1-0-6-1 against Jordans Taverners on May 7.

He failed to get a bowl between 2012 and 2017, but came roaring back in 2018 with a season’s tally of 3-1-9-0.
