The club was founded by journalists on the London Evening News in 1976 and now visits some of the most pleasant club and village grounds in the Home Counties. There are tours every year - to the Cotswolds in June, rural Derbyshire in early September, the delights of south-west France at the beginning of October, and other occasional destinations. Pinkneys Green



Sunday September 20, 12noon start

Take the M4 out of London to junction 8/9.

Take the A404(M) towards Marlow. Come off at the second exit (Thicket roundabout) and take the A4 towards Maidenhead.

At the next roundabout take the first exit signposted Pinkneys Green. After half a mile take the first turning right signposted Pinkneys Green. This is Pinkneys Drive.

The ground is about a mile along, on the left. Take the track to the pavilion and park under the trees.

You can also approach via the M40. Come off at junction four and take the A404 towards Marlow. Stay on the A404 until you see signs off to the left to Pinkneys Green.

Take them.

Turn right into Pinkneys Drive. As you come into the village you will see the sightscreens of the cricket ground over to the right.
